Devastated by the blow, Orion slithered to the corner of the arena. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Zenebula rearing back and getting ready for the kill. Dust blurred his vision as he waited for the fateful blow.
As if by lightening, Rajeru jolted into the center of the ring. Fire encircled Zenebula, preventing her final move. Hearing the roar of the crowds, Orion crouched deeper into the corner, hoping to hide himself from view. Rajeru scanned the battleground, knowing what he’d come there to do.
Carefully, he pierced his victim with his deep orange eyes; his tall, pointed ears listened on high alert. In a flash it was over. The ground began to shake, columns fell and Orion sang louder and stronger than ever before, forcing Rajeru to fall to the ground in pain.
That’s all for now,
